Following Team India’s resounding triumph over England in Ranchi, the emerging talents of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Dhruv Jurel have surged in the latest ICC Test rankings. Each contributing vital half-centuries to secure the series win, they have achieved new career-high rankings. Jaiswal, leading the series in scoring, climbed three places to claim the 12th position, while Gill ascended four spots to 31st, and Jurel now holds the 69th spot.

Despite resting for the fourth Test, Jasprit Bumrah maintains his top ranking among Test bowlers, while Kuldeep Yadav surged 10 places to jointly hold the 32nd spot after an impressive four-wicket haul in the second innings against England.

England’s Zak Crawley also saw a career-best rating, advancing 10 places to 17th on the Test batter list following solid performances against India. Meanwhile, Joe Root’s 31st Test century propelled him to third place in the rankings, with an additional leap to fourth in the Test all-rounders category.

In the Men’s T20I rankings, Australia’s Josh Hazlewood rejoined the top 10 among bowlers, sharing seventh place, while New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson rose 20 spots to 29th. Despite minimal changes in the latest ODI rankings, Namibian duo Bernard Scholtz and Gerhard Erasmus gained ground, with Scholtz climbing to 11th in the bowlers’ list and Erasmus reaching sixth in the all-rounders’ rankings, setting new milestones for Namibia in ODI cricket.
