Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra Shine in Netflix’s ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’ – First Song Out Now!

New Delhi: Netflix’s highly anticipated film ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’, starring Diljit Dosanjh, has revealed its first song titled ‘Ishq Mitaye’ at the Next On Netflix event. Set to premiere on April 12, this cinematic extravaganza directed by Imtiaz Ali promises to offer a unique glimpse into the life of Punjab’s original rockstar, Amar Singh Chamkila, hailed as the “Elvis Presley of Punjab”.

Crafted and helmed by Imtiaz Ali, the movie features Diljit Dosanjh portraying the role of Chamkila and Parineeti Chopra as Amarjot, Chamkila’s wife and singing companion.. With the musical genius AR Rahman composing the music and Irshad Kamil penning the lyrics, viewers can anticipate the magic of their collaboration after nine years.

Featuring six original Hindi songs sung by renowned artists such as Mohit Chauhan, Alka Yagnik, Arijit Singh, Kailash Kher, Richa Sharma, Jonita Gandhi, Yashika Sikka, and AR Rahman himself, the film also boasts live on-location music recordings capturing the raw essence of each moment.
